Today i saw 3 idiots movie with my friend. I had too much expectation for this movie. Most of my friends who have seen the movie already liked it, but this movie failed to impress me. I expected more romance in this movie , because that's the part i loved in Five Points Someone.
I liked few main points which they tried to prove in the movie,first one engineering student getting pressurized in the college and ending up in suicide. Next one, students not allowed do what they wish do in their life.
The comedy was not up to the mark. First half of the movie was dragging. I liked second half of the movie a lot.
I will give 3 out of 5.
We can watch it once.

I saw the movie yest.. i shuld say its not an exact replica of the book.. but its always better to watch a movie without any expectations.. if more romance wuld have been added i am sure that it wuld not have got such good reviews... caz it wuld deviate the main subject of the movie... 300 to 500 page book to a 2 to 3hr movie is not the same.. as expression varies the words a lot :)
i totally agree with the above said comment. One should not compare the book with the movie, a movie is a totally different piece of creative art than a book. The director has to painfully recreate every thing out of the lines into visual poetry and then the totally newly written dialogues for the film. This movie has the potential to stand next to all time hits of Hindi cinema in its history. Period!

Im glad that u liked that movie.i expected more romance bcoz that part i liked in the book a lot. but movie only matches 40% of the book. I know that movie can't b taken exactly as book but some cheesy part from the book should have been added :P

movie was good but definitely not one of the best. I expected more from the movie. Comedy was not upto standards of "munna bhai mbbs" .
You can expect more comedies if Vijay remake this movie in Tamil
